Plains Harmony sponsors A Cappella Honor Choir Festival
On Thursday, November 15th 2007, we organized and sponsored a men's a cappella honor choir festival for 55 select singers grades 9-12 in the Scheel's Center for the Performing Arts at Oak Grove High School.
The festival culminated with an evening concert featuring the men's a cappella honor choir, the 50-voice award-winning Great Plains Harmony men's chorus, the Concordia College Mäennerchor Male Chorus (Mike Smith, conductor), and award winning quartets Quarter Past Four and Wireless.
Our guest conductor, Farris Collins, is a renowned barbershop clinician and music educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
